Change Ubuntu 14.04 Into FullScreen Mode On Virtual Box
Ubuntu 14.04 Into FullScreen
The window size is controlled by the VM's screen resolution. If you manually resize the window on the host you'll only zoom on the image returned by the VM, so of course this gives a very bad image quality. Below are the steps to solve this.
1. Start your Ubuntu Virtualbox and login your root username and password. Make sure that you have no mounted device in your
CD/DVD Devices.
2. Hit Right Ctrl in your keyboard, this will enable you to click on the toolbars in your Virtualbox. Now go to Devices > Install Guest Additions ... or you can just hit Right Ctrl + D. This will create an image file (iso) and mount it automatically in your CD/DVD
Devices.
Follow the Steps as shown and as instructed after installing guest additions. You might be prompted to type in your PASSWORD
3. Restart your Ubuntu Virtual Machine.
